The 17 sustainable goals

  There are 17 Sustainable Development Goals and they are:


 

1.     No Poverty: It means everybody has sufficient money for their primary necessity. As shown in recent studies there is a strong link between poverty and disability. Poverty may cause disability through undernutrition, poor health, and difficult living conditions. (United Nation n.d.)


2.     Zero hunger: To have effortless access to safe, nourishing, and sufficient food year-round, and end malnutrition in all its forms, as to branch out in produce, and seed.


3.     Good health and well be-being: a state of living free from any injuries and illness, to accomplish and retain good physical fitness and mental state. 

 

4.     Quilty education: regardless of gender, color, ethnicity, or geography, centralizes on the growth of each student's social, emotional, mental, and physical cognitive skills. 

 

5.     Gender equality: Ensuring that every person has equal rights, prospects, and commitments. Everyone is impacted by gender inequality men, women, children, and families.

 

6.     Clean water and sanitation: assure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. In simpler words water will not harm you if you come in contact with it.

 

7.     Affordable and clean energy: putting money into clean energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydro.

 

8.     Decent work and economic growth: chances for everyone to land a productive job with a fair income and better opportunities for personal growth.

 

9.     Industry, innovation, and infrastructure: It guides economic growth, creates job opportunities, and thereby reduces poverty and betterment technological abilities.

 

10 Reduced inequalities: to lower unevenness within and among nations in their income, and to empower the social, economic, and political inclusion of all.

 

11  Sustainable cities and communities: A community where everyone's necessities are satisfied and people feel secure and healthy and appreciate and save their environment.

 

12  Responsible consumption and production: minimizing the use of raw resources and harmful materials when using services and products for our everyday necessities.

 

13  Climate action: efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance the understanding of climate action impact and integrate climate change measures into national policies and strategies.

 

14  Life below water: it is essential to our existence to have healthy oceans and seas and to do that, we need to eliminate pollution and stop overfishing and start protecting all types of marine life around the world.

 

15  Life on land: to safeguard, revive and encourage the sustainable use of the ecosystem and manage the sustainability of the forest and living organisms that live and grow on land.

 

16  Peace, justice, and strong institutions: intent peaceful organizations established on human rights and protecting the most vulnerable, and encouraging non-discriminatory laws and policies.

 

17  Partnership for the goals: partnership is when governments and private and public sectors obtain those goals nearer to accomplishment.
